How a biweekly timesheet works
A biweekly timesheet covers fourteen calendar days. Enter each shift, subtract unpaid breaks, and the calculator totals each week separately before combining the two-week period.
Why weekly overtime is separated
Many payroll workflows evaluate overtime by workweek rather than by the combined two-week total. This tool therefore applies your chosen threshold to Week 1 and Week 2 separately.
Example
If Week 1 totals 42 hours and Week 2 totals 38 hours with a 40-hour threshold, the result is 80 total hours with 2 overtime hours.
